 II.  Puller (steel wire type)

Description

1. This extrusion puller powered by linear motor is mainly consisted of puller, guide track, trolley wire, signal unit, buffer device and so on.  

2. Appling converter, PLC system, encoder and contactor to realize its electric control, this puller has such advantages as these:

A. As it is extruded from the hydraulic press the aluminium requires a constant tension to keep its extrusion straight and free from twist. Then the puller is able to be of assistance, the gripper holds the end of the hot extrusion while its converter applies controlled tension. The gripper tension is adjustable to meet with your actual production need.

B. The PLC system is functioned not only to adjust the pulling speed but also to set speed limit. And with the help of encoder, the instant pulling length can be showed on display screen for better control. Even if the gripper fail to catch, the speed limit setting will against the puller runaway slip.

C. The puller uses converter and PLC system to realize a high automation, and it can work together with extrusion press to obtain a continuous operation. Compared with our early model, this puller employs less electric components to reduce its failure rate.
